To allow myself to gain experience in Photoshop when creating website layouts I produced some simple, block colour designs seen below.
I believe this design is too plain for a final website - needs to grab the attention more. However I do like the blue and the font used. If I was to take one aspect forward from this design it would be the style of navigation.

| Although overall I believe this design looks alot more interactive due to the links being on angles the links wouldn't work that successfully. When looking at the colour scheme I believe it's too in your face for a website but the positioning of the 'News' works well. |

| As I liked the above style I developed it to have a more subtle background + straight navigational features. However I do believe its taken away the unique feeling my previous design had and therefore no longer believe it to be final worthy. |

| My final design I believe is the best out of my first attempts. It has a very central feel to it and the colours match fairly well. I have learnt from this one that center aligning is important within my design and that similar tones of colours work best. When looking at the colour schemes above I want my final to be more subtle and be one colour, shown in various tones. |
